Job Description Salary: $21-$22 HourlySafeway Home Healthcare is seeking dependable, organized, and compassionate Homemakers to provide supportive in-home services to individuals living in the Twin Cities and North Metro areas. This role focuses on helping individuals maintain a clean, safe, organized, and comfortable home environment while supporting independence and quality of life.The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, has strong communication skills, and is willing to assist with shift coverage, including occasional weekends and last-minute needs.Reliable transportation is required, as services are provided throughout the metro area, including one recurring weekly shift in Maple Grove.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include:Light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environmentLaundry and linen changesMeal preparation and kitchen cleanupGrocery shopping and errandsOrganizing household spacesAssisting with household routines and daily structureSupporting individuals in maintaining a safe and healthy home environmentReporting concerns or changes to leadership appropriatelyDocumenting services accurately and on timeCommunicating professionally with clients, families, and team membersAssisting with shift coverage as neededSchedule & Coverage ExpectationsServices are primarily located in the Twin Cities and North Metro areaIncludes one recurring 5-hour weekly shift in Maple GroveMust be willing to:Work occasional weekendsPick up additional shifts when availableAssist with coverage for staff call-outs or scheduling gapsTravel between client locations as neededQualificationsPreferred qualifications include:Previous homemaking, cleaning, customer service, or caregiving experienceExperience as a PCA, CNA, DSP, homemaker, or similar support role is helpfulUnderstanding of 245D services and professional boundaries preferredStrong attendance and reliabilityGood communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyReliable transportation and valid drivers licenseAbility to adapt to different client personalities and home environmentsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is:Dependable and flexibleComfortable working independently in client homesRespectful, professional, and compassionateDetail-oriented and organizedA strong communicator with a positive attitudeWilling to support both clients and team members when coverage needs ariseAbout Safeway Home HealthcareSafeway Home Healthcareprovides person-centered services focused on independence, dignity, and community support.
