Jarrett Fleet Services provides professional fleet services including fleet maintenance, emergency fleet repair, and annual DOT compliance inspections and repairs.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics and repairs on semi-trucks and trailers at customer locations or on the roadsideUse electronic diagnostic tools, computer software repair, manuals, and experience to identify and repair issuesOperate and maintain a fully equipped service truck with tools and parts inventoryRemain on call 24/7 to perform job functionsMaintain accurate service records of repairs and hoursUse tools such as common hand and power tools, hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and weldersSafely operate vehicles of various sizes in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipmentRequirements:A graduate of a mechanical trade school or vocational school preferredAbility to read and interpret documentsBasic math and measurement skillsAdvanced knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment utilized in maintenance repairSkilled in the operation of power tools and machineryAbility to work individuallySafety Certifications preferredJarrett might be for you if:You enjoy hands-on workYou want to work in a positive environmentYou want to work for a stable and growing companyYou enjoy working in transportation or mechanicsPhysical Demands:The employee may continuously lift, move, or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds. This position may also require the use of hands for frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and power grasping. Reaching is frequently required at waist level and below waist level. The employee will frequently need to bend, kneel, balance, or squat.
