Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary ClinicLocation: State College, Pennsylvania, 16801Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) in a pulmonary clinic provides professional nursing care in an outpatient setting, following established clinical standards and best practices. This role supports healthcare providers, educates patients, and collaborates with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct patient care in an outpatient pulmonary clinic setting.Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.Minimum RequirementsEducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursingExperienceMinimum 1 year of nursing experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of nursing principles and patient care techniquesKnowledge of diagnostic procedures, treatments, and medication administrationFamiliarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelinesAbility to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritize tasksStrong communication and patient education skillsAbility to respond effectively in emergency situationsKnowledge of medical terminology and clinical office proceduresLicensure & CertificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) License - PennsylvaniaBLS Certification (American Heart Association; renewal every 2 years required)Working ConditionsFast-paced, high-volume outpatient clinic environmentExposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and medical substancesMay require occasional travel to other clinic locationsPotential for irregular hours based on operational needsFor more details reach atAditi.sharma@navitashealth.comor Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
