Medical Office AssistantWe are a multi specialty medical practice looking for a friendly, reliable, and resourceful individual to join our back office team! In our back office, your role would be to provide high quality patient care while performing a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to set-up and assistance in office procedures, taking vital signs, patient intake, heavy scribing, inventory, cleaning/processing instruments, and stocking rooms.The ideal individual for this position will possess a strong attention to detail, as well as time management and communication skills. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday from 8:20AM-5:20PM, with medical benefits after 60 days for full time employees.Example Job Duties:Must be able to demonstrate full competency in sterile set ups and assisting in surgery using this technique.Assisting with biopsies in officeSpecimen handlingAssisting providers in reading pathology reportsExperience working with providers in Mohs SurgeryExperience:Medical Office Experience: 2 years (Required)EMR Systems: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)Location:Multiple locations (Newport Beach and Yorba Linda)
