School Bus DriverReports To: Transportation DirectorJob Goal: To provide safe and efficient transportation of studentsWork Year: 176 student attendance daysWork Hours: Morning and afternoon (approximately 2 hours during each session)Salary: Probationary starting rate $24.00 per hourBenefits: IMRF provided and 10 sick days/1.5 personal daysPerformance Responsibilities:Maintains assigned scheduleTransports only authorized studentsDischarges students only at authorized stopsMaintains discipline when students are on busObeys all traffic lawsObserves all mandatory safety regulations for school busesNotifies the proper authority in case of equipment failureKeeps assigned bus clean and fueledReports all accidents and complete required reportsFollows all department procedures and policies outlined in handbookQualifications or Requirements/Perks:To drive must have a valid Illinois Driver's License with CDL endorsement and Illinois school bus permit & pass criminal background check- WE WILL TRAIN!*HIRING BONUS *REGULAR ATTENDANCE BONUS *Abundance of extra curriculars available to make extra money *Child Ride Along program *Newer, well maintained buses
