Essity does this through innovative brands in the areas of Professional Hygiene, Consumer Goods, and Health & Medical Solutions.About The RoleOperates production lines, including simple machines and palletizers, to manufacture hygiene products in accordance with established specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).As a member of the shift team, the Machine Operator II is responsible for ensuring optimal machine performance, monitoring and meeting KPI metrics, and completing accurate data entry and production reporting.Schedule: Monday to Friday 7AM to 3:30PMWhat You Will DoAn Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others tooRun the machine and watch the process and if necessary adjust according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required. Order and prepare raw materials / or products for palletizing and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating ProceduresMaintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machineMaintain an optimal housekeeping situationSupport others in operating activities Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting or blocking if necessaryComplete all required documentation and data files during productionWho You AreHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 + years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with full responsibility for equipment operation and machine KPIsStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication skillsExperience with machine loss analysis and performance monitoringAbility to train and mentor other operatorsExperience participating in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving processesSkills: Basic math/literacyComputer basicsProblem‑solvingCommunicationTeamworkDetail‑orientedAction‑drivenFlexibleSafety‑mindedWhat We Can Offer YouOur purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
