NOW HIRING...a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school team in Bel Air, MD. In this role, you will support certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering vital speech and language services to students. Your efforts will directly contribute to the improvement of students' communication skills and academic success.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the implementation of speech and language programs as guided by the Speech-Language Pathologist.Conduct routine tasks such as preparing materials, documenting student progress, and maintaining accurate records.Support students individually or in small groups to achieve therapy goals.Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to integrate speech and language strategies within the classroom environment.Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.Qualifications:Associate's degree in a related field or completion of an SLPA program.Valid SLPA license or certification as required by the state of Maryland.Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about contributing to the educational development and communication skills of students.
