Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager, Industry Specialty Services is responsible for maintaining client relationships, providing support in the areas of ERP consulting, ancillary systems & integrations, and overseeing assigned staff.Job Duties Architects & leads ERP implementations for Unanet Manages various technology integrations through project management, and when required, with specific system(s) knowledge Uses the BDO framework to assume responsibility for projects’ phases and work directly with clients to accomplish objectives Performs project management of implementation engagement(s), independently and collaboratively, for core system offerings and others Interprets corporate & entity-level (Federal, non-profit, etc.) compliance as it relates to ERP & technology Reviews and develops policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for the client initiatives to secure new business, including but not limited to participating in Business Development meetings, developing relationships with clients and networking activities Other duties as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities Serves as a member of the consulting group’s management team Supervises, develops, and trains Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers Reviews and evaluates work prepared by Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers Trains Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers on how to use current software tools and Industry Specialty Services methodology Schedules and supervises workload of Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers Provides verbal and written performance feedback to Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers Acts as a Career Advisor to Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers, as assignedEducationQualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, requiredExperience Eight (8) or more years of combined, and relevant, experience in accounting & system-focused knowledge; required Familiarly with ERP & technology implementation best practices; preferred Experience in Unanet; preferred Prior experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, and other highly regulated industries; preferredLicense/Certifications CPA, CMA, or PMP; preferred ERP or technology certifications; preferredSoftware Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint; required Unanet, Deltek, Microsoft D365, and other Govcon ERP and CRM systems; preferred Database management or analytical tools experience a plus (SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI); preferredOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing Proficient in migrating, converting, and validating data using available tools while maintaining accuracy and minimizing errors Strong analytical and basic research skills Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated command of FAR, CAS, and GSA schedules Ability to follow and apply specific rules and regulations Ability to work with minimal supervisionIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.National Range: $135,000 - $175,000NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $135,000 - $175,000Maryland Range: $135,000 - $175,000About UsJoin us at BDO, where you will find more than a career, you’ll find a place where your work is impactful, and you are valued for your individuality.
