They demonstrate interest in developing a wide range of technology skills and utilize critical thinking in a mission critical environment. This is a 3rd shift hybrid position, located in Elmhurst, Illinois. Responsibilities Include:Maintaining compute infrastructure, including racking of hardware, cabling, and asset lifecycle managementMonitoring the health of broad ranging software systems, from server to mainframeReacting to problems, including troubleshooting, resolving, and/or escalating to support teamsSupporting security related needs such as firewall administration and patchingDeploying software changes across environmentsManaging disaster recovery responsibilities include tape storageProviding IT help desk services to end usersDeveloping processes to automate routine task through different toolsLearning new technologies, systems, and processesMcMaster-Carr is a digital-first company offering more than half a million products used to keep businesses in motion.
