Work Hours: M-F 5:30 am to 2 pm + overtime as needed (with Saturday availability) Responsibilities and Duties: Work with heavy industrial printing and material handling equipment (Hoe Press, Wagner Coater, Sheet Loaders, Conveyors, Downstacker and Pallet Turner) Assist with litho press and roll coating set up and wash up Loading and unloading of pallets of steel sheet in the litho and roll coating process’ Set-up and operation of down-stacker and pallet turnover machinery. Accurately document and properly identify material for deco or pail line use Identify and remove defective sheets from the production run. Installation of printing plates, servicing transfer blankets and pressure rollers Work with inks, paints, and associated solvents Perform housekeeping, maintenance and repairs of equipment used in the deco process Perform all operations strictly following established safety procedures. Assists with any other duties or responsibilities in the plant as required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Has an ability to focus on repetitive parts on a conveyor and identify and remove defective sheets of decorated steel. Possesses a strong desire to produce a quality product. Must be capable of using basic hand tools. Has the ability to understand basic electrical and pneumatic controls. Has the ability to use measuring devices such as DFT gauges, and tape measures. Have a basic mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. This person must be physically able to bend, crawl over, under and around the machinery as needed and be able to lift 75 pounds. Be able to understand and maintain detailed production logs. Must be able to work and thrive as a member of a team environment. Cleveland Steel Container was founded in 1963 to provide customers with a dependable steel pail. Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers. At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
