Job OverviewBridgeport Endocrinology is a well-established practice located in Bridgeport, WestVirginia. We seek a qualified Endocrinologist to diagnose and treat endocrine and metabolic disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, endocrine cancers and tumors, calcium and bone conditions, and other endocrine disorders.Provide consultative care in collaboration with hospitalists and other medical teams.Participate in an admitting call schedule (approximately 1:3 ratio).QualificationsMD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility to obtain a state medical license.Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology.Board certified or eligible in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.BenefitsEmployment through SMG System Medical Group with guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives.Comprehensive health benefits through WVU Medicine.403(B) retirement matching program with optional 457(B) plan.CME time off and annual allowance.Significant recruitment incentives and initial multi-year contract.Work ScheduleWeekly hours: 40.
