Mechanical Engineer (Oklahoma City)
Role OverviewThe Mechanical Engineer supports the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves performing mechanical calculations, preparing technical documentation, and assisting in equipment selection and system design under the supervision of senior engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing mechanical systems and components using AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.Perform mechanical calculations including load, stress, thermal, and fluid flow analysis.Support equipment selection (HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, piping systems, etc.) based on project requirements.Develop and review engineering specifications and technical documentation.Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and construction documents.Participate in system design coordination using BIM tools such as Revit.Assist in evaluating system performance and troubleshooting issues.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, civil, manufacturing).Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and safety regulations (ASME, ISO, etc.).Support project planning, schedules, and progress reporting.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Basic knowledge of mechanical system design and engineering principles.Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.Understanding of mechanical calculations and equipment sizing/selection.Familiarity with engineering standards and specifications.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
