Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoPartner with the Safety Manager to direct safety meetings and ensures ongoing safety training for all shop employeesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to link operational (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational efficiencyAdditionally, perform performance evaluations, create individual development plans and assign tasks to the most appropriate team members.Along with Operations Manager, leads personnel in a professional manner, aligned with CMC's Guiding PrincipalsDaily communication with Shift Leads and Production Operators/ Material Handlers to identify opportunities, issues, and concernsDemonstrate leadership by driving initiatives, influencing outcomes, and fostering accountabilityDrive continuous improvement in processes, employee productivity, uptime improvements, and lead time reductionsMaintain and turn in all daily and monthly reports required by managementWhat You'll NeedProficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this roleBilingual Spanish preferredExperience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electricalSAP experience strongly preferredExperience with Salesforce a plusExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Must have an ability to multitask, meet deadlines and handle stress in a fast-paced environment3–5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a production, manufacturing, or rebar related environment (large facility experience preferred)Your EducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's degree preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
