Then again, with offices this beautiful, many people don't seem to be in a hurry to leave.What You'll Be Doing as a Litigation Paralegal This role supports litigation matters involving insurance defense, personal injury, civil litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and a variety of other practice areas.Responsibilities as a Litigation Paralegal include:Supporting cases from inception through trialDrafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondenceManaging and organizing case files and litigation documentsConducting legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research platformsReviewing records, evidence, and legal documentsCoordinating depositions, mediations, interviews, and client meetingsWorking with electronic filing platforms and document management systems including Smokeball, Relativity and InfotrackAssisting attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trialWhat You'll Bring as a Litigation Paralegal5–8 years of litigation paralegal experienceParalegal certificate required, BA degree preferredStrong knowledge of California litigation proceduresExperience drafting pleadings, motions, and discoveryExcellent legal research and writing skillsWhy This Firm?Because life is too short to spend every day in a beige office staring at non-descript walls with non-descript people discussing non-descript things.Our client has built something different: a thriving litigation practice with a strong reputation, deep community involvement, genuine camaraderie, and leadership that understands there is a life outside the office.Oh - did we mention free parking?If you're looking for a place where your work matters, your contributions are noticed, and your surroundings inspire you every day, this could be the move you've been waiting for.
