Promote a culture of success and excellence through accountability, collaboration, engagement, and shared belief in our vision.SummaryThe Quality Inspector role is responsible for providing support and collaborating with Operations, Manufacturing, and Procurement to accomplish the overall quality-related objectives, to minimize product disruptions and improve the throughput of processes.Duties And ResponsibilitiesFirst Piece Inspection of any required product which includes 100% validation of the operational step to ensure conformance to the flowdown requirementsCompleting Receiving Inspection which may include verifying dimensional, paperwork, expirations, and other critical information for product conformanceRoaming Inspection to ensure operator inspections are being completed and to provide oversight on the accuracies of the performed inspectionsFinal Inspection to ensure that batch/lot of completed products through the relevant stage is conforming on either a 100% inspection or sampling planGenerating documentation packages related to outgoing customer product which may include Certification of Conformance, Raw Material, COTS, and External ProcessingDaily / Weekly Reporting on relevant quality metrics (i.e. rejections)Collaborate with necessary functions such as Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, etc. to effectively communicate nonconforming material issues and coordinate necessary actions, until closureNonconformance Reporting with specific details in relation to the origin, scope of the issue, potential containment, and probably root cause to effectively setup the MRB to finalize their investigation & provide disposition on affected productManages the identification, processing, and disposition of nonconforming material for internal and external issues, including supplier’s nonconformances and customer returnsAssist in the investigation of root causes of nonconformities, support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce or prevent the risk of future recurrencesManages, organizes, and ensures the accuracy of company documents.
