Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Akron, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/12/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown required License: Must have an active Ohio license or Compact State license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment required during orientation - Acceptable scores on both assessments required - Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required Description: Registered Nurse needed for a PCU position. Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in PCU or Stepdown prior to travel. Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue in the position. Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time within the system. All references must come from a supervisory role within the specialty. Candidates will not be accepted if they have any open cases or license hits. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. Candidates must complete background checks within the specified time frame.
