Behavioral Interventionist Coordinator

BI COORDINATOR Job Category: Behavioral Interventionist (BI) Program Job Status: Full-time Reports to: BI Program Manager Job Summary: The BI Coordinator provides supervision to BI Staff Responsibilities: Administrative Leadership & Management Employee satisfaction of BI Staff; build a strong sense of team within the department Ensure BI staff have proper support & advocacy Attend job fairs, promote direct-service staff openings Work with Hiring Coordinator: conduct interviews + participate in the on-boarding process Working with the BI Team & Training Department, plan/execute training for all BI Staff Facilitate bi-monthly All-Staff Direct Services Employee Meeting Work with Family Coordinators & Directors to conduct client/staff matchings Complete all Staff Profiles used for client/staff matching Conduct regular evaluation of the BI Staff's work product; alerting Program Manager of concerns/issues Provide in-home supervision for BI Staff Track all missed Shift Notes until completed Work with Family Coordinators to facilitate family/staff meetings Attend team meetings of clients when requested Work with the Program Manager to complete corrective actions/terminations Update family/staff schedule in SAM database to reflect hours utilized Update/track employee timecards Track/complete requirements for in-home visit processes Complete updates in database for client/staff files Provide support to BIs during OHI Investigations Build relationships with partner agencies & community stakeholders Maintain strong, open communication with BI Team re: services delivered, concern/questions Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure program fidelity Maintain CPR/First Aid certification Attend required professional development training Outcome Planning/PQI Complete agency reports & statistics Track/report program outcomes & quality assurance Keep resource provider files in compliance Work with the Program Manager to complete Critical Incident Reports Work with Family Coordinators to complete Incident Report Reviews Qualifications & Preferred Skills MA/MS (or BA/BS + 2 years in non-profit social service agencies) in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field Experience working with at-risk populations required Familiarity with the child welfare system Resourcefulness in setting priorities, creating efficiencies & guiding investment in people & systems Understanding program development, implementation & evaluation Organizational & planning skills Commitment to principles of support & advocacy for foster & adoptive families Strong verbal & written communication skills Leadership ability, team management, interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport & build trust Advocate for positive outcomes within multi-disciplinary, diverse, dynamic professional teams Flexible, self-starter; multi-tasker, detail-oriented, can meet deadlines Model ethical & professional behavior Participate in required meetings/professional memberships & trainings Experience working with marginalized communities + a nuanced understanding of systemic oppressions Flexibility & adaptability working with a wide range of cultures, people & organizations Compensation & Benefits Compensation commensurate with experience.
