One Inc is seeking aSenior Front-End Engineer (Angular)to design, build, and own modern, scalable web applications that power critical consumer payment and onboarding workflows. In this role, you will translate complex business and payment logic into intuitive, secure, and high-performance user interfaces.You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams, while also helping define front-end standards, architecture, and best practices. This role requires strong technical depth in Angular, a product mindset, and a high level of ownership from design through production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain production-grade Angular applications used in customer facing platformsOwn front-end delivery end-to-end, from requirements and technical design through release and ongoing maintenanceCollaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver cohesive solutionsTranslate complex workflows and payment logic into simple, intuitive, and accessible user experiencesDefine and uphold front-end architecture, coding standards, and reusable component patternsContribute to and maintain shared UI components or design systemsIntegrate with RESTful and event-driven APIs, including authentication and authorization flowsEnsure frontend implementations comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor other engineersContribute to architectural decisions and the long-term front-end technical strategyOptimize applications for performance, accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibilityRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience6-8+ years of experience building modern, production web applicationsDeep, hands-on experience with Angular and its ecosystem (TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI)Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSSExperience with state management patterns and tools (NgRx or similar)Solid understanding of modular front-end architecture and component-based designExperience integrating with backend APIs and handling authentication flowsExperience working with relational databases like MS SQL and PostgreSQL, good understanding of database principles and ACID propertiesStrong knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standardsStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplinesPreferred QualificationsExperience implementing ASP.NET based microservices and BFFsExperience in payments, fintech, or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with PCI-compliant or security-sensitive user workflowsExposure to design systems or micro front-end architecturesHands‑on experience with front-end testing frameworks (unit and E2E; Cypress preferred)Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Strong sense of ownership and accountabilityComfortable operating in complex, fast‑moving environmentsUser‑focused mindset with attention to detail and qualityWillingness to influence technical standards and help elevate the teamDesired TraitsStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityComfortable operating in complex, fast‑moving environmentsUser‑focused mindset with attention to detail and qualityWillingness to influence technical standards and help elevate the teamLocation
