HVAC Service Technician (Apprentice/Entry Level)

This role is designed to develop aspiring service technicians by building strong technical fundamentals in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems ranging from 1-ton mini-splits up to 30-ton unitsComplete a full range of maintenance procedures across active HVAC systemsConduct basic troubleshooting and learn advanced diagnostics from experienced techniciansPerform detailed system maintenance audits and complete required documentationLead small-scale projects such as roof sweeps and minor retrofitsSupport both HVAC service and construction teams as neededRequired Skills & QualificationsApprentice-level HVAC experience or foundational technical knowledge1+ year of commercial HVAC experience preferred, particularly with light commercial equipmentBasic working knowledge of:RTUsDOAS systemsVRF/VRV systemsVFDsExhaust and supply fansBasic troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systemsExperience performing rooftop service workAbility to follow established procedures and safety protocolsStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with field teams and customersAbility to manage priorities and work independentlyValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordFlexibility to travel, work overtime, and occasional overnight work as neededPreferred Qualifications1+ year of hands-on HVAC service experience across multiple system typesUniversal EPA CertificationHVAC/R technical school or accredited trade school trainingExperience supporting installation or retrofit projectsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive payMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid vacation, holidays, and sick timeYear-round, steady workOpportunities for advancementSupportive, team-oriented work environment
