Our team believes that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential while feeling supported, understood, and empowered.Position SummaryColumbia Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, skilled in family-centered care, and excited to collaborate within a multidisciplinary pediatric team. This would ideally be part time at our Vancouver office.This role offers the opportunity to develop and grow a pediatric counseling program while working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to support children's emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional needs.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide individual counseling services for children and adolescents ages 2–18.Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including:Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Play TherapyParent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)Solution-Focused TherapyTrauma-Informed CareFamily Systems approachesSupport children experiencing:AnxietyDepressionEmotional regulation challengesADHDAutism-related social-emotional concernsBehavioral challengesSchool-related difficultiesLife transitions and adjustment issuesProvide parent coaching and caregiver education.Collaborate closely with speech and occupational therapists to support whole-child development.Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.Coordinate care with physicians, schools, educators, and community providers when appropriate.Comply with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations.QualificationsRequiredMaster's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.Current Oregon and/or Washington licensure as:LCSWLMFTExperience providing counseling services to children and families.Knowledge of child development and family systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.PreferredExperience in pediatric outpatient settings.Training in play therapy.Experience working with neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD.Experience providing parent coaching.Ideal CandidateThe Successful Candidate WillEnjoy building meaningful relationships with children and families.Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and professionalism.Be comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric environment.Value interdisciplinary collaboration.Be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.Possess strong organizational and time-management skills.BenefitsDepending on employment status:W-2 employee modelCompetitive compensationFlexible schedulingPaid time offContinuing education reimbursementProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative multidisciplinary team environmentAdministrative and billing supportWhy Join Columbia Pediatric Therapy?At Columbia Pediatric Therapy, we believe exceptional care happens when therapists work together.
