Daycare Infant Teacher
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing infants, fostering development, and creating a safe, engaging environment for our youngest learners. The position requires a caring attitude, strong classroom management skills, and experience working with infants and young children in a daycare setting.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development
Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, needs, and developmental progress
Follow all licensing requirements and center policies related to infant care and early childhood education
Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other routine caregiving tasks
Collaborate with team members to create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and exploration
Skills
Experience working with infants in daycare or early childhood education settings
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
Strong classroom management skills to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
Ability to implement developmental activities tailored to infants’ needs
First aid certification is preferred; CPR certification is a plus
Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageous
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for caring for young children
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
