IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project ManagerLocation: Pewaukee, WI 53188Duration: 12 Months, with potential conversionHybrid role, exception when needed for project representation. Travel required, variable amount depending on project needs. Travel will be within WI and Northern IL.Job DescriptionProject manager will work with network telecommunication infrastructure leadership, project managers, and PMO/PCO. The Project manager will lead project schedules, coordinate resources, manage issues, must have project financial experience, manage project budget and accurate forecast, Invoice processing, responsible for project resource time approvals, hold project team meeting and stakeholder coordination meetings, keep project meeting notes, minutes, and adhere to compliance with PMO/PCO governance.This position will also work collaboratively with vendor companies, support agreement negotiations and other telecommunications-related agreements. Licensing agreements and oversee funding support for special telecommunications related projects that support business needs.Job DutiesRoles reports to the Project Control/Management Office. (PCO/PMO)Development and Management of project Delivery and Cost schedules for 1-10 projectsRegular interval progress reporting – Progress reportingMaintaining Project Financial budgets (accruals, forecasts, actuals)Negotiating schedules and resolving delivery issuesCreation of time cards (PWA)Approval of resource time cards (PWA)Job Site Safety EnforcementCoordinates project meetings review status/escalate issues for corrective action.Identification of Issues and Risks on projects escalate as appropriateSubmission of PO Reqs and confirmation of delivery for invoicing purposes.Escalation of issues to PCOChange requestResponsible for coordination of project schedules, resourcesAttend Change management (IT CAB) – when neededNetwork infrastructure installation schedules and resourcesDocumentation and coordination of Site equipment installations, turn up of equipment and Acceptance testing.Coordination/Monitoring with 3rd Party Vendors (Reporting to PCO status)Identification of Permitting needs using internal and external resourcesMinimum Qualifications5 years in the following:Microsoft Project/PWABudget, forecast, and accruals (SAP experience)Proficient in Excel3rd vendor managementContract bidding and negotiationsExperience managing project financials – actuals, invoice reconciliation, identifying variancesProject Management PrinciplesNetwork Infrastructure: network, routers, firewall, switchesPMI-PMP, BA/BS preferredPreferred Qualifications The Ideal Candidate Must Exhibit The Following10 years in the following:Microsoft ProjectBudget, forecast, and accruals (SAP Experience)Proficient in Excel3rd party vendor managementContract bidding and negotiationsProject Management PrinciplesPM experience with Infrastructure ProjectsNetwork Infrastructure: network, routers, firewall, switchesPMI-PMP, BA/BS preferred
