Product Manager (Network Slicing)

OverallA person who has been involved in a matrix organization, and who has a focus more on the business side (customer experience) of Product Management than the technical side (we don't need someone who goes deep into technology; we have a bunch of those folks sitting in Network that we can lean on). The emphasis is on the behavioral aspect of their skillset: someone who can do work on their own, and take initiative, rather than being spoon fed and being told step-by-step what they should do. The preferred location is someone in the Central/Eastern time zone.Technical Skills:Good understanding of telecommunications technologies; 4G LTE, 5G NSA, 5G SA, Network Slicing.Must also be able to understand the needs of customers and translate those needs into business and technical requirements.Have worked with IT teams in creating business and technical user stories.Ability to define and categorize KPIs and metrics for customer support of products.Have knowledge of tools for CPE managementBusiness Skills:Understanding of the business side of products, including the market, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.Ability to develop products and solutions that align with the business goals of the company, and that meet the needs of the target customers.Have worked in a matrix organization working across multiple stakeholders to drive a product to market.Experiencer with managed services and processes and tools for managed services.Worked in a role that deals with different customer segments: enterprise, small business, public sector.Behavioral/Soft Skills:Ability to work independently and as part of a team to bring innovative products to the market.Ability to take initiative to reach out to stakeholders across the organization to get information to drive product launches.
