Bulk Plant Manager

Job Summary: The Bulk Plant Manager position is a working management role and is responsible for leading and directing all areas of sales, storage, and distribution of petroleum products, propane, and lubricants for the bulk plant. Primary Job Duties: Adhere and comply with the company’s handbook and company policies. Manage day-to-day operations to ensure all services and deliveries are completed according to operating standards and customer expectations. Hire train, motivate, coach, and mentor employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assess employee performance, and provide feedback as needed. Build customer trust and confidence with consistently high service and delivery standards. Check and set daily pricing of gasoline, diesel fuel, def, and propane for location. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies to meet customer needs and eliminate loss and waste. Actively seek new customers and make sales calls. Resolve conflict and take disciplinary action as needed. Ensure DOT compliance including hours of service. Coordinate staffing and work to meet organizational and operational goals and objectives. Prepare departmental cost analysis and monitor operational metrics and reporting. Audit internal processes and invoicing for accuracy. Follow and ensure compliance with all safety policies and federal, state, and local regulations; verify completion of all required safety training, inspections, and recordkeeping. Analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies. Other duties as assigned.
