Paralegal

Job Summary:Microchip USA is a multinational fast-growing independent distributor of electronic components. We are headquartered in sunny Tampa FL. We are looking for a talented Paralegal to work with some of the largest companies in the world; the goal of this role is to manage and organize all open cases, complete customer documents, review customers’ legal terms, and collaborate with leadership regarding legal matters. Our ideal candidate is trustworthy, detail-oriented, and resourceful. We expect the candidate to be Transparent, Innovative, and Efficient.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoDuties/Responsibilities:Review of contracts (POs, NDAs, Terms and Conditions, etc.) and customer policiesDrafting internal legal documentsFiling Legal DocumentsComplete client documentation using client portalsComplete onboarding documentation for new suppliers and customersCommunicate with legal advisorsManage any open company cases.Assisting with Trial PreparationMonitor and ensure compliance with emerging laws and regulations impacting our industryManage MUSAs professional insurancesRequired Skills/Abilities:Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field2+ years prior experience in a legal roleStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsLegal and moral integrityEffective speakerAbout Microchip USAAt Microchip USA, we’re not just experiencing rapid growth but defining it.
