In all, AnswerNet has more than 10,000 satisfied clients, and we process over 125 million interactions per year.Summary Of PositionReporting to the Director of Finance, the Telecom Analyst is responsible for analyzing current expenses, creating financial models for decision support, forecasting future costs based on a keen understanding of the business, identifying trends, making recommendations for improvements, and managing client invoicing. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting & financial principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders in simple terms.Job Duties / Responsibilities / Essential Functions Expense Analysis: Review and analyze current operating expenses across all departments to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare detailed reports to support management in making informed financial decisions. Bridge Technology usage reports with the accounting system to accurately allocate expenses. Cost Forecasting: Collaborate with business development teams to project costs associated with new business opportunities. Develop financial models to estimate potential revenues and costs, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable activities with a focus on technology-related expenses, including invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliation, while ensuring accuracy, appropriate expense classification, and adherence to company policies. Client Invoicing: Oversee the invoicing process for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work closely with account management teams to resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure client satisfaction. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing accurate financial data and analysis to support the company’s financial planning process. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify key trends and insights, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and business development, to provide financial insights and support business objectives. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess data and drive decisions. Call Center experience considered beneficial Analytical mindset and inquisitive nature Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing work conditions in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with excellent time management Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.
