Aerospace Layup Technician

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AMLocation: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217Job Description:The Aerospace Layup Technician will be responsible for performing layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assemblies. The technician will work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all parts are manufactured to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:Perform layup of composite materials on aircraft parts and assembliesRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsPrepare molds and tooling for layupOperate and maintain layup equipment and toolsPerform quality checks on finished parts and assembliesDocument work performed and maintain accurate recordsAdhere to all safety and quality standardsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentExperience with composite layup in an aerospace manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExperience with composite tooling and moldsAbility to operate and maintain layup equipment and toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checksExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesEEO/AA M/F/Veteran/Disabled
