Assembly Coordinator

Job Description JOB SUMMARYThe Assembly Coordinator plays a key role in bringing Nueske's products to life by leading daily operations within the assembly area. This position ensures our gift builds are completed safely, efficiently, and with the high level of quality our brand is known for. As a hands-on leader, the Assembly Coordinator supports team development, drives operational excellence, and fosters a culture rooted in craftsmanship, accountability, and teamwork. During peak season this role will be expected to work some weekends. This position reports to the Mail Order Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and support assembly team members to achieve performance, quality, and productivity goalsFacilitate daily communication, including team huddles and ongoing feedback, to ensure clarity and consistencySupport trai??ning and onboarding efforts while mentoring team members to grow their skillsAssist with time and attendance processes and reinforce company policies with professionalism and confidentialityOperations & Workflow CoordinationCoordinate and prioritize daily assembly activities to meet production schedules and customer expectationsDrive efficiency and accuracy across workflows, ensuring smooth operations from start to finishCollaborate across fulfillment areas and provide support (pick/pack/ship) based on business needs, including seasonal demands such as December label processesQuality & Continuous ImprovementChampion Nueske's commitment to quality by ensuring adherence to product standards, procedures, and specificationsOversee verification of paperwork, lot codes, and product details to maintain accuracy and traceabilityConduct routine inspections and quality checks, addressing issues and supporting corrective actions when neededIdentify opportunities to improve processes, enhance workflow, and elevate overall team performanceSafety & CompliancePromote a safe work environment by reinforcing established safety practices and expectationsMonitor daily activities to ensure safe work behaviors and proactively address hazards or concernsParticipate in company-wide safety initiatives and contribute to a culture of accountability and careSystems & TechnologyUtilize MACH and other digital tools to support team productivity and operational trackingTroubleshoot minor system issues and escalate as needed for resolutionRecommend technology or process enhancements that improve efficiency and team effectivenessMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferredPrevious leadership or supervisory experience in assembly, warehouse, or fulfillment environmentsExperience training and developing team membersBasic understanding of workplace safety practicesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds continuouslyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Familiarity with Nueske's products, processes, and assembly workflowsProficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and basic computer applicationsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsNUESKE'S CULTURE ELEMENTS:At Nueske's, we share a few basic Culture Elements.
