Network Engineer

Job Title: Network EngineerPay Rate: $45/HRDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Chandler/AZ,Las Colinas/TXWe are looking for a Network Engineer to support and enhance a global enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, and performance across data centers, edge networks, and internet-facing systems. You will work extensively with enterprise load balancing platforms such as VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) and/or F5 BIG-IP. This position also involves automation using Python and Ansible to improve operational efficiency. The engineer will play a key role in network modernization, migrations, and production support.Manage and support global enterprise network infrastructure including data centers, backbone, and edge environmentsDesign, implement, and maintain load balancing solutions using VMware NSX ALB (Avi) and/or F5 BIG-IPImplement network security policies across routers, firewalls, and application delivery platformsSupport data center migrations, GSLB configurations, and traffic cutover planningTroubleshoot and resolve network performance, capacity, and availability issuesAutomate network operations using Python and Ansible scriptingProvide technical documentation, change management support, and post-change validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including application, DNS, firewall, and infrastructure teamsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in network engineering or network operations rolesHands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM) and/or VMware NSX ALB (Avi)Experience supporting production-scale enterprise networksStrong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, and firewallsExperience with load balancing concepts (SSL/TLS, persistence, health monitoring)Python and/or Ansible for automationExperience in data center environments and application delivery architectureNice to HaveF5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or VMware NSX ALB certificationExperience with GSLB, traffic engineering, and data center migrationsKnowledge of SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle managementExperience with F5 OS upgrades and Avi controller upgradesStrong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills
