Our client, in academia is looking for a driven and experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support key hiring initiatives. This hybrid, contract role is perfect for a recent graduate who wants to learn sourcing and talent acquisition and is energized by the opportunity to build talent pipelines from the ground up.In this role, you’ll partner closely with recruiters to support growth during an important expansion phase, playing a hands-on role in shaping early hiring efforts in this market.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively source and engage candidates dailySupport hiring efforts tied to market expansion and new geographic growthLeverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms to identify qualified talentBuild and maintain diverse talent pipelines aligned with hiring goalsCraft thoughtful outreach messages to attract both active and passive candidatesCollaborate with recruiters to refine sourcing strategies and prioritize searchesTrack candidate activity and sourcing efforts in recruiting systemsStay informed on NYC-area market trends and talent availabilityQualificationsBachelor’s degree required0-1 years of sourcing or recruiting experienceStrong familiarity with the NYC talent marketHands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or additional sourcing toolsStrong written communication, organization, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment
