About AspenAspen is an AI agent built to run marketing, sales, and client servicing for financial advisors. We’re replacing the traditional marketing role with intelligent automation, enabling advisors to generate personalized content, run sophisticated email campaigns, manage client relationships, and execute automated workflows, all powered by AI. Every advisor who joins makes the platform smarter, and we’re building the future of how financial services professionals grow their firms. We're a small, profitable team, self-funded and generating seven figures in revenue. No outside investors, no runway pressure. We move fast and build things that matter.About the roleThis is an engineering role with strong product ownership, not a traditional PM or pure engineering role. You’ll own your own development process end-to-end: shaping priorities with the founders, breaking them into tickets, shipping features using AI coding tools, and presenting your work weekly. You’ll report directly to the founder/CEO. This is not a fit if you need someone else to define your tickets or manage your process. You’ll use AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) daily to execute tickets, ship features, QA your own work, and debug issues on our React/TypeScript + Supabase stack. If you’ve built and shipped this way before, you’ll feel right at home. What you’ll doAI & Agents (primary focus)Own and evolve how Aspen uses AI, agents, and RAG-based knowledge retrieval to generate advisor-specific marketing outcomes.Improve prompt engineering, context injection, and retrieval pipelinesDefine the product strategy for AI features — what gets automated, what stays human-in-the-loop, and how the system gets smarter over timeDrive continuous improvement in output quality and personalizationMarketing automation (primary focus)Build and improve the automation engine (workflows, triggers, sequences)Own email deliverability, segmentation, templates, and analyticsManage integrations (SendGrid, Calendly, Zapier, webhooks)Sprint execution & buildingPlan and prep weekly sprints.
