PrincipalLocation: Chapin Intermediate School - (will change to Chapin Middle School, effective the 202627 school year) Pay Scale/Salary Class/Days: Administrative Pay Scale / Grade 38 / 240 Days / 8 Hours Per Day Requirements: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Principal or Supervisor Certification in one of the following areas: School Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Elementary Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Secondary Principal (Tier I or Tier II), Elementary Principal, Elementary Supervisor, Secondary Principal, or Secondary Supervisor supplemented by at least three years of teaching and administrative experience. Must possess a valid state driver's license.Description: Under limited supervision, provides the leadership and management skills necessary to maximize the efforts of teachers and students in an environment which is conducive to educational enhancement, growth and achievement for students; directs all daily operations of the school campus; supervises and coordinates the work of all assigned professional and classified personnel; ensures subordinates' adherence to District policies, regulations and goals.
