Join our team and create, improve and innovate the everyday!Job DescriptionThe Global Manager – IT Infrastructure provides strategic and operational leadership for Pyrotek’s global IT infrastructure environment. This role leads infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud strategy, and operational excellence across a global manufacturing footprint.The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, experience managing global teams, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions that support business growth.We believe great work happens through collaboration, flexibility, and accountability. This role follows a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. * More in office days may be required for special projects, training and onboarding. Subject to change at leadership discretion.What You’ll DoLead global IT infrastructure strategy and executionOversee hybrid cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCPDrive infrastructure modernization, automation, and standardization initiativesManage global networking, servers, storage, and data center operationsStrengthen cybersecurity posture and support Zero Trust architectureLead disaster recovery and business continuity planningImplement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)Manage infrastructure budgets, vendors, contracts, and SLAsDevelop global standards, governance, and compliance practicesLead and develop distributed infrastructure teams and external partnersSupport 24/7 manufacturing and business operations worldwideWhat Makes You SuccessfulStrong leadership and communication skillsStrategic thinker with hands-on technical depthAbility to lead change and modernization initiativesExperience building high-performing global teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience5+ years leading teams in a global, multi-site environmentExperience with hybrid and multi-cloud environmentsStrong knowledge of enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operationsExperience supporting manufacturing or operational environmentsAbility to travel up to 20% domestically and internationallyPreferredAdvanced degree or industry certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or CCNPExperience with{{:}}Azure, AWS, and GCPSD-WAN and Zero Trust networkingMicrosoft 365 technologiesInfrastructure automation and observability platformsNIST and ISO 27001 frameworksPhysical/Sensory RequirementsThe following physical activities described here are representative of those required by a team member to perform the essential functions of this position. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including approved footwear, respirators, and safety glasses/goggles may be required.Additional InformationThe minimum and maximum salary range for this full-time position is $133k - $166k + benefits. Relocation benefits may be available, if deemed applicable based on candidate location.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
