Network Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Design, implement, and manage enterprise network architectures across physical, virtualized, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments. Support network operations for fixed and disaster-activated sites, including LAN, WAN, voice, video, satellite, internet, intranet, and telecommunications infrastructure. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for enterprise network infrastructure and services. Monitor network performance, availability, utilization, and service health; identify and implement performance improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, outages, connectivity issues, routing problems, and interoperability challenges. Implement and maintain network security controls, including VPNs, access controls, firewalls, IDS/IPS integration, and secure network configurations.What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree and 12–15 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience. Experience managing enterprise network operations within a complex, mission-critical environment. Experience supporting Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions. Experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, cloud networking, network segmentation, load balancing, and secure connectivity. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
