This contract (part-time) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role provides private-practice flexibility with Talkspace handling insurance billing, marketing, and administrative costs, so you can focus on delivering care and creating your own schedule.
This is a contract position
Responsibilities Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Examinations (PDE) for new referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video sessions, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed
Operate in a flexible, home-based setting with your own schedule
Provide care with secure, HIPAA-compliant communications
Compensation $110 per initial session with a new patient referral (PDE - 45-60 min)
$30-$85 per follow-up session with an established patient (E/M - 10-49 min)
About you Active California PMHNP license with 2+ years prescribing experience
Active DEA registration and individual NPI number
Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
Collaborating/supervising physician agreement, or willingness to obtain one
Reliable internet connection
Independent professional liability insurance; minimum coverage $1,000,000 occurrence / $3,000,000 aggregate
