If you share these core values and are committed to career excellence, let us help you reach your dreams!If you are the type of individual that would enjoy working at one of the Puget Sound's Best Places to Work for 10 years in a row and focuses on providing an exceptional client experience, then 1st Security Bank is the place for you. 1st Security Bank was named a bronze medal winner in its class in the Puget Sound Business Journal's Best Workplaces contest in its first year nominated and is also consistently rated a 5-star Bank in Washington State by Bauer Financial, an independent bank rating firm.POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for increasing branch growth, including leading and managing sales focusing on expanding relationships and developing new business, as well as planning and delivering effective sales strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Must adhere to the Core Values of 1st Security Bank and demonstrate dependability and reliability in all aspects of the positionUnderstands and promotes the Bank's Customer Service Protocols in daily branch operationsAchieves branch goals by developing new business, referrals, and retention of account relationships.Promotes the Bank's sales and service culture to their team through training, coaching, staff motivation, and leading by exampleParticipates in community networking opportunities to increase the Bank's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunitiesRecommends marketing and volunteer opportunities within the community to enhance the Bank's exposureAbility to multitask and prioritize job responsibilities as required while maintaining organizationEnsures excellent customers service skills are practiced by all staff membersProfessional oral and written communication skills and follow-up when corresponding with employees and customers/Opens new accounts for consumers and business customers in strict accordance with bank's policies and procedures, including, but not limited to the Customer Information Program (CIP) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)Appropriately cross-sells additional bank's products and servicesActively maintains a business development pipelineAppropriately refers prospects to other bank partners (e.g., Home Lending, Community and Business Banking, Commercial)Participates in the bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and community event sponsorship effortsResearches and resolves customer complaints when necessaryTakes action to connect with customers in a way that promotes 1st Security BankAchieves monthly sales, profile and outbound call goalsTakes responsibility for learning and growth opportunities using the Branch Development PlanParticipates in branch operational and audit activities as assignedOversees administration and efficient daily operation of a full-service branch office including product sales, lending, customer services, operations and security and safetyMeets weekly with Assistant Manager for employee status updatesAdheres to 1st Security Bank policies and support management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner and represent the bank with a high level of integrityTravels to assigned 1st Security Bank locations as business needs requirePerforms other duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages all employees in the branch and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
