Final offers are determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related considerations.To access a list of benefits for full-time jobs, please visit www.moodybible.org/careers/benefits/.What You Will Be DoingReporting to the VP of Moody Global Media, the Director of Media Content provides hands-on leadership for the MGM's multi-platform content ecosystem, ensuring content excellence, operational discipline, and alignment with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.This role serves as the internal quarterback for content execution, overseeing workflows across radio programming, podcasts, digital, and emerging media. The Director builds strong accountability structures, drives cross-team coordination, and ensures content remains clear, compelling, and on message.This is a player-coach role for a leader who combines strong content judgment with proven operational execution in a complex environment.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Content Excellence & Message Alignment:Ensure all content reflects the MGM and MBI's voice, mission, and strategic prioritiesEstablish and enforce clear content standards across platformsPartner with senior leadership on messaging priorities and content themesProvide content guidance to hosts, producers, and content creatorsMaintain high quality and consistency across both legacy and emerging mediaContent Operations & Workflow Management :Own the end-to-end content production workflowBuild and maintain integrated content calendarsImprove processes that increase speed, clarity, and accountabilityRemove bottlenecks in content development and publishingEnsure strong communication flow up and down the organizationImplement project management discipline across content teamsTeam Leadership & Development:Directly supervise content producers and related staffSet clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectationsConduct regular check-ins and performance reviewsDevelop team capabilities across traditional and digital mediaFoster a culture of ownership, clarity, and continuous improvementServe as a hands-on coach, not just a delegatorCross-Platform Content Integration:Ensure alignment across radio, podcast, web, social, and emerging channelsPartner closely with marketing, digital, and development teamsTranslate media strategy into executable content plansSupport content repurposing and distribution strategiesHelp the organization move from siloed content to an integrated content ecosystemPerformance & Continuous Improvement:Track and review key content performance metricsPartner with the Media Strategy function (internal or external)Recommend adjustments based on audience data and organizational prioritiesDrive a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvementPerform other duties as assignedMinimum RequirementsSeven years in content, media, or programming leadershipBachelor's degree in communications, media, journalism, marketing, or related fieldDemonstrated success managing multi-platform content teamsStrong hands-on operational leadership experienceBackground in broadcast, digital media, or bothProven ability to build workflows and accountability systemsStrong content judgment and message sensitivityAuthorized to work in the US legally without sponsorshipPreferred RequirementsSeminary education or formal theological trainingWork Environment/ConditionsMoody Bible Institute is a Christian-based Higher Education and Media Ministry. This role also regularly uses specialized audio equipment including consoles, related hardware, computerized audio editors, specialized listening environments etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
