Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Swim School Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our swim instruction programs. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate scheduling, manage staff, ensure the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons, and foster a safe and welcoming environment for learners of all ages. Your leadership will inspire both staff and students, promoting water safety, skill development, and a positive experience that encourages lifelong love for swimming. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive swim lesson curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring alignment with safety standards and best practices. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate swim instructors and support staff to deliver engaging, effective lessons that promote water safety and skill mastery. Schedule classes efficiently to maximize participation while maintaining optimal instructor-to-student ratios. Monitor lesson quality through regular observations, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Maintain rigorous safety protocols by ensuring all staff adhere to emergency procedures, conduct regular safety drills, and uphold facility cleanliness and water quality standards. Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, address concerns, and promote program enrollment. Manage administrative tasks including enrollment records, attendance tracking, equipment maintenance, and facility management to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Higher education teaching experience or background in education administration is highly desirable. Proven leadership experience in managing a team within a recreational or educational environment. Experience working with students or participants of diverse ages and skill levels in a structured setting. Familiarity with swim instruction techniques, water safety standards, or aquatic program management is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. Prior university experience or involvement in educational institutions will be considered an asset.
