Your responsibilities will include:* Managing the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks.* Building familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines.* Identifying and communicating scope and design changes promptly.* Supporting startup activities and coordinating work with other team members and discipline leads.* Producing detailed deliverables such as: Installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, and power plans.What We're Looking For:* Electrical design experience in building electrical systems.* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.* Experience with Revit and MV design strongly desired.Ready to take the next step? Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills* Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering* At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems* Experience with power system software (preferably ETAP)* Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards* Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.* Effective verbal and written communication skills* Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teamsIdeally, you'll also have:* At least one year of design experience for semiconductors, data centers, or mission critical facilities* Medium Voltage (MV) design experience* Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Team leadership and client interaction experience#afelectronics #electricalengineer #LI-MP1Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
