We have successfully automated the complex, manual DMV paperwork that dealerships, fleet management companies, and auctions handle every day.About the RoleWe’re hiring an Business Operations Lead to help build and scale the operating system behind our product and service delivery.You will work closely with our CEO, Data Operations team, Product, and Engineering to improve how Fairway operates as we grow.This role sits at the center of execution across rules, quality, process design, internal tooling, and team scaling.You will help design systems that allow Fairway to deliver consistently, move faster, and maintain a high bar for quality as volume increases.What You Will DoDesign and improve core operating processes: Build scalable workflows across Data Operations, rules management, QA, and launch support.Build systems for scale: Create playbooks, SOPs, dashboards, and operating cadences that help the team perform consistently as the business grows.Apply technology and AI to increase leverage: Use automation, internal tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve speed, quality, and team productivity.Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Operations to turn operational insights into better tools, product improvements, and stronger internal systems.Strengthen quality and accuracy: Help design processes that improve rules quality, QA standards, feedback loops, and operational consistency.Support team scaling: Help define team structure, hiring priorities, training, and workflows so the organization can grow efficiently.Build visibility for leadership: Develop reporting and metrics that give leadership clear insight into performance, quality trends, bottlenecks, and growth opportunities.Turn feedback into system improvements: Build structured ways to capture operational learnings, edge cases, and customer input and translate them into repeatable improvements.Lead high-priority initiatives: Drive strategic cross-functional projects that improve launch readiness, operational performance, and scale.Who You AreStrong owner: You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy taking responsibility for important cross-functional work.Systems thinker: You naturally see how people, process, and software fit together, and you know how to improve all three.Process builder: You enjoy designing workflows, playbooks, and operating rhythms that help teams perform at a high level.Tech-enabled operator: You are excited to use AI, automation, and software tools to improve how teams work, even if you are not an engineer yourself.Highly analytical: You use data to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and measure impact.Strong communicator: You can work effectively across executives, operators, and technical teams and keep stakeholders aligned.High standards, low ego: You care about outcomes, move quickly, and are willing to be hands-on when needed.2–8 years of experience: You likely come from Business operation, Operations, Consulting, Product Ops, or a high-growth startup role where you helped build and scale internal systems.Why Join Us?Impact: You will help build the operating system that powers Fairway’s next stage of growth.Ownership: This is a highly visible role with direct influence on company performance.Growth: As Fairway scales, this role can expand into broader operational leadership.Leverage: Your work will directly improve product quality, team productivity, and customer outcomes.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree requiredProven track record of improving complex operational processesExperience building systems in a fast-moving environment, ideally at a startup, consulting firm, or operations-heavy businessComfort working cross-functionally with business, operations, product, and engineering teamsStrong project management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to use tools, automation, or AI to improve workflows is strongly preferredLogisticsLocation: Dallas, TX (Preferred) or RemoteCompensation: base salary of $150,000–$170,000, plus performance bonus and meaningful equity
