Product Marketing ManagerLocation: Remote (Eastern Time Zone or Central)Reports To: Business Unit LeaderAbout Instructional Empowerment (IE)Instructional Empowerment (IE) is a mission-driven organization dedicated to ending generational poverty and eliminating achievement gaps through rigorous Tier 1 instruction that ensures deeper learning for ALL students.About the RoleWe are seeking a revenue-driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who is also a strong storyteller and strategic communicator to lead go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and product positioning across our K-12 portfolio, with a focus on school employee evaluation solutions.This is a commercial role, not brand marketing. The PMM is accountable for product marketing campaign effectiveness, pipeline growth, win rates, and revenue impact, and sits at the intersection of Product, Business Development, and Marketing.A key part of this role is the ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling, customer-centered narratives that drive district understanding, urgency, and adoption.What You'll DoGo-to-Market & PositioningLead go-to-market strategy for new and existing productsDefine ICPs, buyer personas, and district decision driversDevelop clear, differentiated messaging and product narrativesAlign positioning across Product, Sales, and Marketing to support revenue growthIdentify expansion and cross-sell opportunitiesStrong copywriting skills for website, product brochures, email campaigns, and PPC adsSocial media strategiesStorytelling & Sales EnablementCreate high-impact sales tools including decks, case studies, battlecards, ROI narratives, and board-ready materialsTurn complex product concepts into simple, persuasive, story-driven messagingStrengthen sales effectiveness by improving messaging, storytelling, and collateral using win/loss insightsEquip sales teams with narratives that shorten cycles and improve close ratesCustomer & Market InsightConduct voice-of-customer research (interviews, surveys, win/loss analysis)Translate insights into messaging, positioning, and product recommendationsMonitor competitive landscape and market trendsRevenue & Performance ImpactAnalyze pipeline, win rates, conversion, and adoption metricsOptimize go-to-market effectiveness based on dataSupport revenue growth and market expansion strategiesRequired Qualifications5+ years in product marketing, sales, marketing, or go-to-market rolesDirect sales and/or marketing experience requiredExperience in consultative B2B sales environmentsStrong copywriting, storytelling, and messaging skillsAbility to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling value propositionsStrong analytical skills and data-driven decision-makingCross-functional collaboration experience with Product, Sales, and MarketingHighly PreferredK-12 product management, product marketing and/or sales experienceExperience selling to or marketing within public school districtsUnderstanding of district procurement and funding cyclesPortfolio demonstrating messaging, storytelling, or campaign workWhat We Offer?At Instructional Empowerment, you'll be part of a passionate, mission-driven team working to transform K-12 education.
