ResponsibilitiesLead RF/microwave analyses and design solutions across multiple platformsContribute to technical planning, system development, requirements decomposition and traceabilitySupport top-level architecture design, mission planning, and traceability of requirementsLead development and maturation of RF designs through full program lifecycleInterface with subject matter experts and subsystem vendorsProvide RF manufacturing support including assembly, test and automated test system designsPerform cascade analyses, modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and testing of RF subsystems/circuits/componentsAct as a self-sufficient RF hardware design engineer, guiding the team through full design cyclesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams and customers to communicate status and results
Key requirementsBachelor degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience; 9 years with Bachelor's, or 7 years with related Master'sProficiency in RF modeling and simulationUnderstanding of RF/Microwave board design/cable design, construction, shielding, and material selectionProficiency with RF measurement techniques and equipmentAbility to develop RF/Microwave design artifacts ensuring customer requirements complianceExperience leading multi-discipline development teams and managing cost and scheduleAbility to obtain and hold SECRET level clearanceEffective written and verbal communicationCross-functional collaborationself-motivation and independent problem-solvingRF modeling and simulationRF measurement techniques and equipmentRF design artifacts and documentation
