Description:
Hiring experienced engine and hybrid powertrain calibrators for our global internal combustion engine, diesel, and hybrid electric vehicles. The position includes working in vehicles, on road, and at test facilities including Test Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too.
Engineers will be responsible for delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics.
Calibrate and Sign-off vehicle functional objectives.
Document progress and methods used to calibrate / validate parameters within responsibility.
Design and conduct tests to validate engine and vehicle fuel economy, performance, emissions, and diagnostics.
Evaluate and assess vehicle attributes (performance, fuel economy, emission, NVH) on vehicles and in engine dynamometer cells.
Calibration and development of leading edge aftertreatment technologies for PM, NOx, HC, and CO reduction
Calibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are responsible for data analysis and scripting.
Skills:
propulsion systems calibration, Engine calibration tools, test scripts, read c code, control systems knowledge, ATI vision
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Gas, diesel, or hybrid calibration experience is preferred. Electric vehicle propulsion calibration experience is desirable as well.
ATI Vision is used for data acquisition and analysis. Preferred skill but the team is willing to train.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
