Low Voltage Installer Technician

Job Description An AV Technician installs low-voltage systems in residential projects. Responsible for initial rough-in wiring, device trim & verification, final installation & debugging. Skills Rough-in Adhere to engineered design documentation to place wire in locations for all system devices Able to safely use power tools, ladders Able to read and follow architectural plans for device layout Fast, efficient, accurate, and neat at all times Trimout Terminate, verify, label system wiring Install AV devices following system documentation Final Installation Follow schematic documentation for AV rack building Installation and setup of AV equipment System trouble-shooting and debugging Integration with sub-systems Personal and Communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Neat and courteous at all times On time all the time Self-starter Eager to learn Strives for excellence and efficiency in all tasks Experience Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Custom Residential AV installation Preferred: Deep familiarity with Savant, Crestron, Lutron Preferred: Knowledge of network configuration and setup a plus Required: A great attitude and work ethic Attributes Great communication skills with clients and team members Organized, efficient, and on-time with assigned tasks AudioVisions hires based on cultural fit, and we look for people who are Humble, Hungry and (People) Smart.
