Machine OperatorWieland is hiring a Machine Operator. The Machine Operator I, will be responsible for operating equipment in the forging and machining production areas. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $24.51Schedule: Mon-Thur. 6p - 6a; & Mon-Wed. 6p - 6aPay Schedule: WeeklyResponsibilitiesMachine Operator Responsibilities:Work safely and promote the safety of those working around you; help build a proactive safety cultureMeet Forgeworks' customers' demand by operating the forging, cleaning, and machining equipment including:Job setup tool assembly and installationRunning the job following JSWPs and quality processesClean up and preparation for the next jobMeet or exceed the quality expectations of the customer as defined by the Engineering and Quality organizations by following the quality process:Periodic part inspectionParticipate in root cause analysisMeet or exceed financial targets by achieving operating performance targets such as yield and operating efficiencyAdditional Accountabilities:Read and interpret dimensional layouts when neededAdhere to ISO 9001 and NSF standardsPerform operator based preventative maintenance.Shipping, receiving and utility workProcess auditsSorting product needed for shipmentQualificationsMachine Operator Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years' experience operating machinery preferredStrong attention to detailMust be able to operate a forklift training providedAble to lift 30 poundsStrong communication skills, written and verbalAbility to read drawingsProblem solving skills / critical thinkerDesire to learn and develop technical skills to keep current with changing manufacturing processesJoining Wieland's team gives youBenefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
