Medical Lab Technician

All Shifts needed: 1st, 2nd and overnight Pay: $22-$27/hour (Based on experience and credentials) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting routine medical laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior staff. Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technicians will perform stat and routine testing in the areas of specimen processing, hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, basic microbiology and blood bank. Medical technologist/medical laboratory technician will perform patient/unit blood compatibility testing and issue compatible blood and blood products if required. Requirements: For medical technologists, bachelor’s degree and American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist is required. For medical laboratory technicians, associate degree and AMT or ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Technician is required. Responsibilities Perform specimen collection processing and analysis Conduct ELISA, DNA isolation, and other laboratory tests Assist in research laboratory activities Handle blood sampling and vital signs measurements Operate and maintain laboratory equipment Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and procedures Skills Proficiency in medical terminology Experience in CT scans and laboratory assays Knowledge of specimen processing techniques Familiarity with various laboratory procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a team environment If you are a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician with a passion for healthcare and laboratory work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
