Waterfront Staff - Full Time (April-October)

Waterfront Staff Position We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Waterfront Staff at Sebasco Harbor Resort. This is a full time seasonal (April-October) position located in Phippsburg, ME. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and orderly operation of the boat launch ramp and associated facilities.The Waterfront Staff will assist boaters, maintain the launch area, enforce rules, and provide excellent customer service to all patrons.Greet boaters in a friendly and professional mannerAssist boaters with the safe and efficient launching and retrieval of vessels, providing guidance as neededDirect vehicle and trailer traffic within the launch area to maintain flow and prevent congestionCollect launch fees accurately (cash, credit card, or pass verification), handle transactions, and maintain basic records if requiredClearly communicate facility rules, regulations, and safety procedures to usersMonitor the launch area for potential hazards, safety violations, or environmental concerns and report them promptly to managementMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the boat launch ramp, docks, parking areas, and adjacent facilities (e.g., trash removal, basic cleaning)Perform routine visual inspections of launch equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needsProvide basic information to boaters regarding local waterways, weather conditions, and facility amenitiesRespond calmly and appropriately to customer inquiries, complaints, or minor issuesPerform any other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:1 or more full years employment experience in a waterfront/boat launch operator positionProficient knowledge of boats and waterfront operationsMainly work in an outdoor environmentAbility to lift/push up to 50 lbsAbility to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all timesAbility to work nights, weekends and holidaysHave proficiency in the English languageMust be able to work onsite at the locationHours required: Full Time 30-40 hours per week for Must be flexibleAdditional preferred skills/qualities:Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or FrenchCompensation: $18 HourlyBenefits:Earned paid time offEmployer-contribution medical/dental/vision insuranceOptional life insuranceShort term/Long term disabilityOptional 401k with employer matchEmployee discounts at participating hotelsOption to sign up for on-demand pay with DailyPayRefer a friend get paid extra when they join our team!Bonuses for name recognition and guest scoreOpportunities to grow one of the fastest-growing hotel companiesAbout Sebasco Harbor Resort:Nestled along the tranquil shores of Sebasco Harbor in Phippsburg, ME, Sebasco Harbor Resort offers quintessential Maine charm with waterfront accommodations and array of amenities.
