HVAC Installer / Technician
LJS Mechanical is a Veteran-Owned and Operated HVAC and Plumbing Company in Maynardville, TN. We are in search of a motivated individual interested in starting or advancing their career in HVAC. The role will initially focus on new construction with the potential to transition to the service side of the company if desired.

Growth: We will help you obtain your EPA Certification within your first year. The goal for this role is to transition to an HVAC technician position, running one's own calls.
Pay: $15-$20, depending on experience. Open to experienced technicians for an adjusted role and rate.
Key Responsibilities
There will be opportunities or overlap in HVAC service, but the primary function of this role is new-construction and installation-based.

The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet industry standards and customer specifications
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layout
Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during installations
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems
Ability to cross -train and assist with light plumbing - water heaters, plumbing fixtures, etc.
Requirements
Experience: Entry-level or 1 year preferred. (experienced technicians encouraged to apply as duties and pay would reflect skillset.)
Veterans preferred—experience requirements may be waived for qualified veterans.
Compliance: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and work in unconditioned environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights).
Mindset: A "self-starter" attitude with strong organizational and communication skills.
Certification: Current EPA Certification is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate to obtain it within 12 months.
