Please find the details below:Role: Powertrain Controls & Calibration EngineerLocation: Columbus, Indiana (Onsite) Experience: 6+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced engineer with strong expertise in powertrain controls, modeling, and calibration for automotive embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in MATLAB/Simulink, control algorithm development, and system integration for engine and transmission systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate control systems for vehicle powertrain components (engines, transmissions, ECM, traction control)Develop models using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow and generate production code using TargetLinkPerform MIL/SIL testing and back-to-back validationSupport system integration, including CAN communication and diagnostic protocolsConduct calibration and tuning of engine parameters using OEM toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (software, system integration, diagnostics)Ensure compliance with ASPICE standards and configuration management processesPerform root cause analysis and support issue resolutionRequired Skills6–8 years of experience in automotive powertrain controls and calibrationStrong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow modelingExperience with TargetLink code generationHands-on experience in MIL/SIL testing and validationStrong understanding of control algorithms and engine calibrationExperience with CAN, J1939, OBD, and UDS protocolsExperience with OEM calibration tools and tuningStrong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
