Engineer Software 2

A major Aerospace company is looking for an Engineer Software 2 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you'll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.ResponsibilitiesDevelop embedded real-time system softwareWork in an Agile environment as part of a scrum teamResolve software and system defectsCollaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites and disciplinesParticipate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetingsUse project dependent tools including:Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORSGit, Bitbucket, Jira, ConfluenceAda, C/C++, C#, PythonGreen Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and LinuxBasic Qualifications for Engineer Software 2BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experienceExperience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#Knowledge of object-oriented software developmentAbility to function as a member of an integrated teamExperience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)US Citizenship requiredDoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptablePreferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 2Strong verbal communication and customer service skillsStrong collaborative mindsetExperience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD programExperience programming with Ada languageExperience programming with C++ languageExperience with real-time embedded software developmentExperience working in an Agile environmentElectronic Warfare system development and design experienceShift: []Start: []
